Barley (Hordeum vulgare), an annual plant a member of the Poaceae family, is a major cereal grain grown in Iran as food. Barley has been used for human nutrition as well as animal fodder. It is overwhelmingly considered as carbohydrates and protein sources in livestock feed. Protein content is preferred more than 12% for livestock forage. Harvesting time should be decided when barley stem becomes dry enough to be broken by hand easily in semi-arid and arid areas. In 2016, barley was ranked fourth among grains in quantity produced (141 million tonnes) behind maize, rice and wheat. The cultivation begins in October by plowing the ground. Covering by humic acid and biofertilizer, the seeds are planted 180 kg/ha. The annual amount of water requirement in Barely is 5000 cubic meters. Based on different factores, the yield would be between 4.5-5.5 ton/ha
